Letter Samples & Guidelines
Start with "Greetings!" or "Hello!" Try thinking about what you would like to hear when you are sick. What things comfort you, entertain you, or brighten your day. You can also introduce yourself and tell them about you or a story.

Sample 1
1) Please note: Your letter will be proofread to determine if it's appropriate for patients and any specific age range. Please be kind and respectful or your letter may not get to a patient.
2) Please put your name, school, and age at the bottom. Parents, teachers, and adults are also welcome to write letters.
3) Write a greeting at the top and don't refer to them as a cancer patient. They are a person just like you.
4) If you would like a potential response to your letter include your mailing address. We do not share your address with anyone else and we do not promise a response.
Guidelines

You can draw a cartoon, write a joke, or draw your pet or yourself. Be positive. Draw your favorite movie or song or write a poem.
